The increase in riders tells us that motorcycles have become popular in the mainstream. Skilled mechanics for motorcycle repair and maintenance are in high demand, and our program will give you this growth of knowledge.
YTI's Motorsports Technology program arranges for an advanced, practical knowledge and offers you the chance of working on real motorcycles of different renowned brands such as Harley-Davidson, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, BMW and Buell.
The expanded motorcycle technology center will allow you to launch your career as a motorcycle technician at YTI's brand-new facility. Our school offers hands-on training based on real problems in a 15,000 square foot training infrastructure which comprises motorcycle diagnostic & test equipment - including a DynoJet 250i dynamometer - 16 fully equipped service bays, wireless Internet access across the campus and laptop computers for student usage.
YTI's 9 month program offers convenient class schedules and trains you for jobs in an assortment of manufacturers and bike shops.
Motorcycle Technology Center Lab
The campus at 52 Grumbacher Road is spread over 15,025 square feet of a 29,360 square foot, one story building present in the I-83 Business Center in York, Pennsylvania. Approximately 6,750 square feet of learning space, administrative offices, faculty office space, a reception area, student and faculty lounges, conference rooms and storage for motorcycles are all included in the facility.
Motorcycle Technology Center
Motorcycle Technology Center housed at YTI Career Institute's new Motorcycle Technology Center gives true-world training in their huge facility of 15,000 square foot motorcycle diagnostic and test equipment which include 250i dynamo meter, 16 fully fitted out service areas, wireless Internet access all over the campus and laptop computer for students.
YTI's Motorsports Technology program is a fast paced 9 month course of study where you get to have your hands on real motorcycles, including many leading brands: Harley-Davidson, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, BMW and Buell.
What types of things will I be taught?
- Lab and shop safety
- Proper fittings of Bearings
- Conservation of Hydraulic brakes
- Corrections of 4-stroke and 2-stroke engines
- Transmission, primary drive corrections and re-installations
- Electrical testing
- The proper use of a Dyno for diagnostics and detections of disorders along with their solutions
- The technique of reinstalling a tire
- The method of correcting and changing a telescopic fork
- The procedure of fixing equipments.
